- Drive Belden pipeline growth through developing compelling digital transformation strategies for assignedkeyaccounts
- Establish Belden#s credibility and relevance with Plant Management and Operations (non-Engineering) staff. Minimize communication barriers between technical and operations staff
- Consulting with Operations teams through to understand, diagnose and document plant process flows, identifying information deficits, operational losses and bottlenecks
- Working with Solutions Consultants totransfer process diagnostic insights into compelling Solutions
- Understand customer#s specific improvement tools and processes (such as OEE) and how they are deployed, in order to secure invitation to participate and clarify operational priorities
- Influence proposal content to ensure value impact around business outcomes, building credibility and sponsorship by using Account's terminology and KPIs
- Provide industry and process insights to Customers to visualize use
- cases that stimulate projects and growcustomer loyalty
- Collaborate with CIC Solution Technical Consultants and Support team in development/execution of POCs, FATs, and network audits
- Understand and gather market and customer Insight, communicating internally with Sales, CIC team and Marketing to refine and evolve financial value modelling tools
- Create, update and share documentation for existing andnew business information processes
- Train process owners, process experts and technical engineers at the customer on applied tools and methods for continuous improvement
Required Skills and Experience - Knowledge & Experience requiredEducation & Experience
- Bachelor#s Degree with a focus on Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or Process Automation
- Master#s Degree preferred, or a track record in a professional career with significant experience in operations/manufacturing
- More than 10 years of experience as automation consultant or business analyst or comparable professional activities, preferably in one of Belden#s priority industrial vertical markets
- Deep knowledge of processes and tools used in industrial sectors such as Consumer Packaged Goods and Material Handling is a big advantage
- Experience in designing, engineering, and implementing digital processes in a manufacturing environment
- Experience and high interest in M2M, Industry 4.0 (Hardware, Software, Connectivity), Cloud platforms and other similar technologies (Machine learning, AI, EAM..)
- Technical knowledge about leading RPA Tools (e.g. Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath) advantageous
- Practical experience in tools for operational excellence (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) and understanding of innovation management methodologies and agile working approaches
- Proven record of strong result
