Job Description:
Deeksha Exports, a leading aluminum and zinc die-casting manufacturer, is seeking a High-Pressure die-casting (HPDC) Floor Supervisor with proven industry experience. The ideal candidate will oversee and optimize daily operations on the die-casting floor, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Lead and manage HPDC floor staff, ensuring efficient and safe daily operations.
- Quality Control: Monitor production quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintenance Coordination: Ensure all machines and equipment are well-maintained; coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance with the engineering team.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to improve workflow, reduce waste, and increase productivity on the HPDC floor.
- Training: Train, mentor, and monitor staff on HPDC operations and safety protocols.
- Reporting: Maintain daily reports on production, downtime, and quality issues; communicate updates to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role within the High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) industry. (Required)
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of HPDC processes, machinery, and quality standards.
- Leadership Skills: Strong team management and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail in monitoring quality standards and identifying potential issues early.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and team coordination.
