Utilize Candela Design Studio to develop and maintain diagnostic specifications for embedded systems.
- Implement ODX standards to create diagnostic data descriptions and communication interfaces.
Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to integrate diagnostic functionalities into embedded systems.- Design and execute diagnostic test plans to validate system performance and compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and debug diagnostic issues throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external partners regarding diagnostic solutions and tools.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in diagnostic technologies and industry standards.- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of diagnostic engineering processes.
Document design decisions, test results, and best practices for knowledge sharingand future reference.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and project reviews to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Relevant 3+ years of experience and total 6-10 years of experience.
- Proven experience as a Diagnostics Engineer or similar role, preferably in the automotive or embedded systems industry.
Expertise in Candela Design Studio for diagnostic specification development and management.- Proficiency in ODX (Open Diagnostic data eXchange) standards and tools for diagnostic data modelling.
Familiarity with CAN drivers and CAN Open communication.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, microcontrollers, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Experience with diagnostic testing methodologies and tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer, Vector Diagnostic Scripting).- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in relevant diagnostic standards or tools.
