Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
This executive will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets, preparing the relevant collaterals, leading deal structuring and performing due diligence. The role demands close collaboration with the senior leadership team to execute growth strategies and optimize value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the group's M&A strategy to support long-term growth
- Identify and evaluate acquisition targets, partnerships, and divestiture opportunities
- Lead all phases of the deal lifecycle, including due diligence, financial modelling, valuation, negotiations, and closing
- Work with cross-functional teams (strategy, finance, legal, HR, operations) to ensure smooth evaluation and execution of deals
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team
- Manage relationships with external advisors, investment banks, and legal teams
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and new business opportunities
- Support corporate strategy initiatives beyond M&A, such as joint ventures and strategic investments
Experience
5+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, or private equity
Qualifications
Industry Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred)
General Requirements
- Proven track record in managing the end-to-end M&A process, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and integration
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and strategic analysis skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- High level of leadership and project management skills, with experience working cross-functionally
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Deep understanding of industry dynamics and competitive landscapes
