Key Role of the Incumbent:

- The solution architect is responsible for driving successful launches of the group's Smart - products.

- The position is responsible for creating a holistic architecture for developing the Mobile Application to support connected electronics products (IoT) by close coordination with the Electronic (hardware/firmware) team and the cloud/infrastructure team.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Lead the coordination with Electronics, Mobile App QA and Cloud team to ensure seamless delivery of apps with best quality and faster turnaround time. Use business knowledge to communicate priorities, decision making, and problem resolution.

2. Ensure software architecture is secure, scalable, robust, and highly functional, and integrates deeply with hardware and firmware

3. Design the organization and talent needs required for transitioning External Vendor to internal (ITC). Manage the existing external vendor resources till their transition into ITC.

4. Develop a robust QMS system to securing quality and speed of app development through a robust process and data management system, aligning app development and sustenance with product development (KBDP), changes in the cloud infrastructure, regulation and external needs for both mobile app platforms.

5. Manage the Company's App product owners that will bridge the app development team, category product owners, industrial design and the Smart Team.

6. Maintain state-of-the-art awareness of analysis methods, design tools, and methodologies. Implement automation and other productivity improvements for the app design and its process and programming practices.

7. Practice risk management in decision making to execute projects.

8. Make and implement platform decisions, and discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage

EDUCATION:

1. B.S. / M.S. in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

1. 15+ years of IoT App development experience in two or more of the following roles: project management, technical architect or integration.

2. 8 years of supervisory and project management experience.

3. Ability to lead and complete multiple projects on time and on budget.

4. Experience in software development processes (e.g. Agile), software version control, object-oriented programming, model based software development (Matlab/Simulink/Real-Time Workshop), and embedded software.

5. Experience working with OSEK compliant operating systems.

6. Proficient in C or C++.

7. Good understanding of PCB design, CE/UL certifications for Electrical appliances.

8. Experience with various communications protocols (WiFi, BLE, MQTT, TCP/IP).
