Role Description:
As a DevOps Engineer at Kindred Group PLC, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of software products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Manage source code repositories and workflows with Git.
Write and maintain scripts using Bash and Shell for automation tasks.
Utilize Groovy for scripting and automation within Jenkins.
Oversee the deployment of applications on Android and iOS platforms.
Implement and manage Fastlane for automating Android and iOS deployments.
Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment processes to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the overall development lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proficiency in Git and Jenkins.
Strong scripting skills in Bash and Shell.
Experience with Groovy scripting.
Knowledge of Android and iOS deployment processes.
Familiarity with Fastlane for mobile deployment automation.
Optional Qualifications:
Experience with Appium for mobile test automation.
Knowledge of native automation frameworks.
Familiarity with Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD).
Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
Experience with Docker for containerisation and orchestration.
Preferred Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
