What You Can Expect
As a ZPZCX DevOps monitoring engineer at Zoom, you will be responsible for building, deploying and supporting the monitoring infrastructure and tools. These tools + infrastructure help maintain health and desired uptime for critical Zoom products like Zoom Phone, Contact Center and other communication products.
- Follow the operational process and take rotational on-call work.
- Administration of Monitoring tools and infrastructure
- You'll design and implement zero-downtime to accomplish a highly available service (99.999%)
- You'll design and implement disaster recovery (DR) between different region's Datacenters
- You'll troubleshoot production issues, including performance and function issues
- You'll work with vendors and infrastructures and the engineering team for security and service availability
- You'll provide troubleshooting for systems and Zoom backend service
- You'll provide the CI/CD model to deploy and configure the production system
Qualifications
- Minimal Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of work experience as an monitoring and devOps engineer.
- Proficiency in GIT, Kubernetes and Docker,
- SaaS product Deployment hands on experience using tools like ArgoCD, Jenkins, Helm Charts.
- Experience administrating open-source (Prometheus, Grafana, etc) and vendor monitoring tools (Pingdom, Pagerduty, etc)
- Experience in Linux/Bash, Terraform, Ansible and Python/ Perl
- Experience with AWS services like CloudWatch, Lambda, S3, EC2, DynamoDB etc.
