Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
Locations: Remote
Experience: 10+ years
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, software development, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
- Extensive experience with Bash/Shell scripting.
- In-depth knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Proven expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub and related tools.
- Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong background in tooling and DevOps frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, JFrog, and other related tools.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD workflows and automate application deployment processes.
- Build and maintain Docker images and Kubernetes configurations to support scalable and reliable application deployments.
- Create and manage Bash/Shell scripts for automation and process improvements.
- Utilize Java and Python for scripting, automation, and tool development.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage security practices within the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the DevOps processes and infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional CI/CD tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
- Certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or related areas.
