DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing infrastructure, automating processes, and enhancing the overall operational efficiency of our software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases and deployments.

• Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure.

• Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, integrating with various tools and platforms.

Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.

Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide support for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and configuration management.Security: Implement and manage security best practices across the infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve infrastructure and application issues, providing timely support to maintain high availability and performance.

Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

Performance Tuning: Optimize performance and scalability of applications and infrastructure.

• Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Min 2 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.Technical Skills:

• Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar tools.

Configuration Management: Familiarity with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar tools.Containerization: Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools.

• Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.

Monitoring: Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.

Version Control: Proficiency with Git and Git workflows.Networking: Understanding of network protocols, DNS, VPNs, and load balancers.

• Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar certifications.

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Experience with Agile: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
