The DevOps Engineer shall be responsible for:
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes .
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers.
Skills & Prerequisites:
- Entry level work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
- Good knowledge of Python or Bash scripting.
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Should have knowledge of Docker.
- Basic understanding of infrastructure as code and configuration management tool like Ansible and Terraform.
- Understanding of monitoring and observability tools.
- Basic understanding of web servers, firewalls, SSL and web security.
- understanding of CI/CD pipeline.
- Should be familiar with AWS cloud platforms. Certification would be a plus point.
- Should be well versed in Linux systems.
- Good to have knowledge of Advanced Networking.
