Core Skills
Implement and extend High Availability hosting infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, etc Supporting distributed development teams within existing tooling and frameworks used to build PHP based eCommerce driven applications Implementing SLDC management systems, pipelines, and reporting tools Constructing and supporting highly-available production workloads supporting well-known online brands Building and supporting infrastructure systems throughout their conception, development and ongoing operational support Working with development teams to Implement DevOps principles, practices and methodologies Writing and maintaining documentation on infrastructure, systems and disaster recovery procedures 4+ years overall technical experience coming up through software development ranks (non-infrastructure) 2+ years experience working with AWS 2+ years DevOps experience building out CI/CD pipelines and related developer tooling 2+ years administering Linux systems configuration) Hands-on experience working with Terraform,, Python and Bash Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience and familiarity with Nginx, PHP-FPM, MariaDB and Redis configuration and optimization Fundamental understanding of load-balanced and highly-available infrastructure systems Ability to author, maintain, debug infrastructure modules and the applications they support Ability to function independently, pro-actively engage others, and see what needs to be done Development experience in Magento 1 and/or Magento 2 Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction and lead a small team
