We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in managing on-premises server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deploying, managing, and optimizing on-premises servers and related infrastructure, as well as a solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure on-premises server environments to support our company's software development and deployment processes.

• Responsibilities:

On-Premises Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain on-premises server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, networking components, and related technologies.

Automation and Configuration Management: Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and deployment of on-premises servers and infrastructure components. Utilize configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible to ensure consistency and reliability across the environment.Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to track the health, performance, and availability of on-premises servers and infrastructure. Analyze performance metrics and troubleshoot issues to optimize system performance and resource utilization.

• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and policies to protect on-premises server infrastructure from potential threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data security and privacy.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, IT operations, and security, to support their infrastructure needs and requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical solutions.

Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Implement CI/CD pipelines for automating software build, test, and deployment processes in on-premises environments. Integrate CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI to streamline software delivery workflows.Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document on-premises infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to promote continuous learning and improvement.

• Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing on-premises server infrastructure in enterprise environments.

Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including infrastructure as code, automation, and collaboration.

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Splunk.

Understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
