SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER:

Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with software developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to understand the company's needs and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and automated solutions.
2. Infrastructure automation: Develop and maintain a robust infrastructure automation framework using modern technologies (such as Terraform, Ansible) to ensure efficient and repeatable deployment processes across various environments.
3. Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD): Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects, enabling rapid integration, testing, and deployment of software releases.
4. Monitoring and alerting: Set up and maintain monitoring tools to proactively identify system issues, bottlenecks, and performance-related problems. Configure alerting mechanisms to promptly notify the team in case of any critical issues.
5. Deployments and release management: Manage the deployment and release lifecycle of applications, ensuring coordination between teams, adhering to best practices, and minimizing downtime during production deployment.
6. Security and compliance: Contribute to maintaining strong security practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Implement security measures to protect infrastructure and systems from potential threats.
7. Troubleshooting and incident response: Investigate and respond to production issues, providing root cause analysis and implementing necessary fixes and improvements.
8. Documentation and knowledge sharing: Create and maintain thorough documentation related to infrastructure, processes, and deployment procedures. Share knowledge and mentor other team members.
Requirements:
1. Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, preferably in a cloud-based or e-commerce environment.
2. Technical skills:
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.
- Experience in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, configuration management tools such as Ansible, and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and orchestration tools.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
3. Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions within time constraints.
4. Strong communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
5. Adaptability and passion: Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and a strong desire to continuously learn and implement new technologies.
