DevOps Engineer for Fintech Solution
Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Responsibilities:
CI/CD Pipeline Development:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
Automate the deployment process ensuring seamless integration and delivery. (preferable MEAN stack applications)
Infrastructure Management:
Manage and optimize the server to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Monitor (preferable Azure )and manage MongoDB databases to handle high throughput efficiently.
Performance Optimization:
Implement performance tuning and monitoring strategies to maintain optimal performance of the application and database.
Conduct regular performance tests and stress tests to ensure system robustness.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure the security of the application and infrastructure through best practices and compliance with industry standards.
Implement security measures such as encryption, access controls, and vulnerability assessments.
Automation and Scripting:
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or other relevant scripting languages.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Monitoring and Incident Management:
Set up comprehensive monitoring and logging systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or equivalent.
Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.
Collaboration:
Work closely with development to ensure smooth integration and delivery of new features.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in a fintech environment.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
Proficiency in managing and optimizing MongoDB databases.
