KansoCloud is seeking a self-motivated DevOps Engineer to set up and administer Middleware & Container Orchestration Solutions in the private cloud and public cloud.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain operations of servers, storage devices, and network infrastructure on private cloud and public cloud
- Manage CI/CD environments and streamline deployments to private cloud and public cloud with Jenkins, Github, and other tools
- Ensure that the container orchestration platform is maintained correctly by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, performance, and system health
- Strong Knowledge of monitoring tools and fine-tuning alerts on multiple monitoring platforms
- Monitor, prevent, and troubleshoot applications, infrastructure, network, and security-related issues
- Implement DevOps solutions using appropriate tools and technologies
- Drive customer communication, and come up with a task list to achieve the goal
- Be a thought leader in DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure engineering
Skills
- 3-5 years of progressive experience developing and delivering solutions using relevant technologies
- Problem solving mindset with an attitude to bring simple solutions to the table
- Automation mindset - Do it manually twice and automate for the third time
- Have a deep understanding of cloud and virtualization platforms, infrastructure automation, and application hosting technologies and experience handling production environments
- Excellent development, automation, and design skills using Python or a similar programming language
- Strong hands-on experience in Linux administration and working with virtualized environments
- Solid networking fundamentals
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation
- Strong knowledge of DevOps best practices, including CI/CD methods and tools
- Strong experience with Amazon Web Services / Azure / GCP
- Experience building and deploying solutions using Docker containers and container-orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
Good to Have:
- At least one Associate AWS certification (Architect, DevOps) or Microsoft Azure certification (Architect, DevOps)
