Job Description:

Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS using Terraform. Create Terraform modules from scratch to support infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.

Linux Server Management: Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Linux servers, focusing on process and CPU utilization to optimize performance and ensure system stability and also on the SSH connectivity issues.

Scripting and Automation: Write and maintain shell scripts to automate various tasks, including taking backups, transfering files and managing disk space and maintenance activities.

Containerization: Build, manage, and deploy Docker images using Dockerfiles. Implement best practices for container management and orchestration.

Kubernetes Management: Deploy, manage, and scale services in Kubernetes clusters. Manage Kubernetes deployments, services, and configurations, ensuring secure and reliable exposure of applications to the internet.

Volume Management: Manage persistent storage for applications running in Kubernetes, ensuring proper configuration and management of volumes within pods.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment processes.

Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor system performance, detect potential issues, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime

AWS Expertise: Proficient in managing and automating AWS services, including S3, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, EBS, ECS, ELB, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route 53, RDS, DynamoDB, Security Groups, IAM, VPC, EventBridge, and EKS.

Shell Scripting: Proficient in writing shell scripts to automate system tasks and troubleshoot issues.

Linux Server Management: Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Linux servers, focusing on process and CPU utilization to optimize performance and ensure system stability and also on the SSH connectivity issues.

Terraform: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Terraform for managing AWS infrastructure. Ability to implement infrastructure from scratch using Terraform.

Docker: Deep understanding of Docker, with experience in building images using Dockerfiles and managing containers in a production environment.

Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deploying and managing microservices, handling multi-container pods, and managing volumes.

Security: Experience in securely exposing Kubernetes services to the internet, implementing best practices for security and access control.

Python Development: Strong proficiency in Python 3.x for scripting and automation, particularly within AWS environments.

CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkin or GitLab CI and integrating them with infrastructure and application deployments.

Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
