As a DevOps Engineer at DIRO, you'll play a pivotal role in streamlining our operations and ensuring the high availability of our services. You'll collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases, ensuring the scalability and security of our infrastructure.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, including services like EC2, S3, Azure VMs.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
