Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and help drive the development and deployment of our fixed asset trading platform
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for automating and streamlining the software development lifecycle, from development to production

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automate and streamline the software development lifecycle, from development to production, using tools such as GitLab.
  • Develop and maintain deployment pipelines that are secure, reliable, and scalable.
  • Work with the development and QA teams to ensure that the platform is deployed and maintained in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code, using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or similar.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance, identifying and resolving issues as needed.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including network security, access controls, and data encryption.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in DevOps, and recommend new approaches and technologies as needed.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including deployment pipelines, infrastructure configurations, and security policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong background in automation and infrastructure as code.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools and practices.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex DevOps concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
