Job Description: DevOps Engineer (AWS) with Security Audit and Infosec knowledge
We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS, security audit, and information security to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and security of our cloud-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including virtual servers, networking, storage, and security services
- Perform security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
- Develop and implement security controls and measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and systems
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents and breaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security policies and procedures and continually improve the security posture of our systems
- Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security and compliance
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in security and information security to recommend and implement best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on AWS
- Strong knowledge of security audit principles, methodologies, and tools
- Experience in performing security assessments and audits, including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001
- Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP, or CISA are a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
