SKills and JD-

Must-Have Attributes:

-Passion for cloud technologies, particularly AWS

-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Excellent communication and documentation skills

-Continuous learner who stays updated with the latest AWS advancements

Software Requirements:

-AWS services: ECS, EKS, ECR, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CDN, SQS, ElastiCache, Glue ETL, ALB

-CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket

-Monitoring and observability tools: Grafana, OpenSearch

-Programming languages: At least two of Shell, Perl, Python, PowerShell, or Go

-Application servers: Tomcat, Nginx, Apache Httpd

-Databases: Understanding of available AWS open-source databases

Overall Responsibilities:

-Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud-based production systems

-Ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems

-Manage the creation, release, and configuration of production systems

-Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across various application domains and platforms

-Define and deploy automation tools for operational processes

Category-wise Technical Skills:

-Cloud Infrastructure: AWS services, VPC, IAM, networking

-DevOps Practices: CI/CD pipelines, automation, configuration management

-Programming: At least two of Shell, Perl, Python, PowerShell, or Go

-Monitoring and Observability: Grafana, OpenSearch

-Databases: Understanding of AWS open-source databases

Experience:

-12 years+

Day-to-Day Activities:

-Collaborating with development teams to understand application requirements

-Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions

-Automating deployment and configuration processes

-Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues

-Developing scripts and tools for automation

-Staying updated with AWS best practices and new features

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

-AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a strong advantage
