Job Description:
- Prepare strategic plan for Development Engineering dept, with respect to Company Vision.
- Prepare detailed KPI for DE department to achieve organisation goal.
- Collaborative interaction with the internal team & effective communication on a timely basis on the project status.
- Interact with external teams (Business partners) strategically to execute the projects as per the targets (QCD).
- Review of internal & external project plans, 4M readiness & support to the team to achieve the targets.
- Interact with the design team & Vendor for DFM, DFA & DFT for electronics product (PCBA), Box build, harness, etc & enhance the development procedures.
- Identify the project risk, plan for contingency action & communicate the risk & mitigation plan well in advance to keep the projects on track.
Ideal Candidate:
- Should have experience in strategic management in development dept, budgeting & hands on experience in team handling.
- Min 10 Years of overall experience & worked in electronics product development dept (PCBA, box build, harness & lighting parts).
- Hands on experience in supplier assessment, project plan, 4M readiness, risk & mitigation.
- Good experience in SMT process (SPI, stencil design, solder paste Printing, P&P, reflow profile setup, AOI, routing & box build).
- Hands on experience in jig & fixture development (Stencil, PCB carrier, pallets, routing fixture, wave pallets, conformal coating, potting, box build fixtures) by working with suppliers based on takt time & UPH.
- Experience in quality issue & customer complaint handling & issue resolving by working with Suppliers.
- Experiences in DFA, DFM, DFT, PFMEA, ECN, cycle time, takt time, WLLC, quality tools, continuous improvement & LEAN.
- Good experiences in MS office & good communication skills
