SCOPE

SEPA is a payment integration initiative that allows for seamless euro payments across borders within Europe. It focuses on retail payments, such as credit transfers and direct debits

The SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT) scheme makes it possible to make cross-border electronic payments in euro throughout the current 33 SEPA countries as securely and efficiently as making the equivalent domestic payments. The key features of SCT Inst include the service being consistently available (24 hours a day, 365 days a year); and taking no more than ten seconds for the recipient's payment service provider (PSP) to inform the payer's PSP whether the money has been received and, in the case of a successful transaction, to make.

To meet the demands of efficiently performing OFAC transaction scanning, a cloud native infrastructure will be introduced.

The objectives of the program are:

• FIRCO Version V6
• Build out a stand-alone cloud native infrastructure for OFAC scanning purposes in

multiple environments (TEST/QA and UAT/PROD)

• Test and tune infrastructure to meet SEPA requirements for 24x7x365 availability and <10 second response
• Provide support for testing and user validation
• Assist BNY resources in implementation preparation, deployment and post implementation support
