Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced 10x developer to lead our development efforts in creating robust Python applications hosted on Azure. You'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable and efficient solutions using the latest technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced financial applications using Python, NodeJS, Angular/React and other relevant technologies
- In partnership with our cloud engineering team, implement hosting solutions on Azure, ensuring high availability and scalability
- Utilize microservices architectures, ensuring seamless data integration and functionality
- Write unit tests and perform rigorous testing to ensure high-quality code and robust applications
- Implement data analytics solutions using Pandas DataFrames for processing and analyzing large datasets
- Working in partnership with our data engineers, help design and support data pipelines and workflows to support data ingestion, processing, and analysis
- Champion DevOps practices in partnership with our DevOps team, including CI/CD, monitoring, testing, documentation, and automation using Docker and other tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Support global business teams by troubleshooting and debugging issues as they arise, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers
- Build and leverage robust automated testing and administration frameworks, and generate high level design artifacts and robust support documentation
- Use secure coding practices, logging & instrumentation, and leverage static code analysis tools
- Continuously research and implement the best practices and technologies to enhance application performance and security
Requirements
- Proven experience as a full stack developer with expertise in Angular/React, at a mature Fintech or Financial Services firm
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services and managing production environments
- Proficient in microservices architecture and various open-source technologies like Docker, Ruby on Rails, and relational and/or NoSQL databases and Snowflake
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, Jasmine) and automated testing
- Solid understanding of data analytics concepts and experience with Pandas DataFrames
- Knowledge of NLP techniques and related libraries, particularly for text analysis and processing
- Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- amiliarity with version control systems, particularly GIT
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top university in India or abroad. Bachelor's may be acceptable for a stellar candidate
Good to Have
- Experience with NodeJS
- Experience with GenAI or similar AI technologies
- Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies
