Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the instrument reference data module.
- Conduct systems testing and support user acceptance testing.
- Handle day-to-day production problems and maintenance, including possible shift work and on-call duties.
- Adhere to international development standards and procedures, including change control.
Skillset:
- Strong knowledge of the GoldenSource product.
- Experience implementing and supporting GoldenSource in a financial institution.
- Minimum five years experience in Java and J2EE.
- Proficiency in object-oriented methodologies.
- Experience with Publish/Subscribe messaging paradigms and distributed transaction processing.
- Installation, configuration, and monitoring experience with JBoss.
- Familiarity with GoldenSource Security Master module.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux.
- Excellent relational database skills (ORACLE/PostgreSQL).
- Document database experience, preferably MongoDB.
- Proficiency with automated testing tools (e.g., JUnit, jMock).
- Familiarity with XML-based technologies such as XSLT.
- Understanding of Fixed Income, Equity, and/or Futures processing.
- Experience with TDD/BDD agile methodology.
- Familiarity with CI frameworks like Bamboo.
- Building connectors using GoldenSource tools (workbench).
- Experience with integration/acceptance testing frameworks like FitNesse.
- Proficiency in WebServices.
- Experience with Javascript (client-side) and Node.js.
