We are looking for a DevOps Lead who will be responsible for working on various product design, implementation and solutioning, as an important part of the Engineering team.
Requirements of the role
- Demonstrates experience in managing Cloud infrastructure services and accounts
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform and Serverless Framework
- Proficiency in Container Orchestration, particularly with Kubernetes
- Track record of software integration and deployment pipeline development, emphasizing reliability and efficiency
- Strong scripting skills for automation tasks
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Elastic Search, Kibana, Logstash, Grafana, and Prometheus
- Proven experience with Production Support and Business Continuity in a Multi-region setup, operating 24x7
- Agile team collaboration skills and a commitment to knowledge sharing
- Ability to meet assigned task objectives within defined scope and timelines
Background Of The Candidate
- 5-7 years of relevant experience (AWS), preferably in a Technology Infrastructure role
- Graduate or Post-graduate degree from a reputable college or university, ideally in a technology-related field
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to architect and automate cloud resources using tools like Terraform and Serverless Framework.
- Demonstrate expert proficiency in Container Orchestration, particularly Kubernetes, to enhance deployment efficiency.
- Lead the development of integration and deployment pipelines, applying software craftsmanship to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.
- Create automation scripts, APIs, and daemons to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual overhead.
- Configure and utilize monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Elastic Search, Kibana, Logstash, Grafana, and Prometheus to ensure the health and performance of cloud infrastructure and containers.
- Provide Production Support with a focus on Business Continuity, ensuring adherence to SLAs for a Multi-region setup while operating in a 24x7 service environment.
- Lead projects aimed at designing metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in our DevOps processes.
- Collaborate within an agile team, actively sharing knowledge and contributing to the development of best practices for DevOps.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to complete assigned tasks within specified scope and timelines.
- Exhibit strong language, communication, and writing skills in English to facilitate effective communication across teams.
- Manage and oversee Cloud infrastructure services and accounts across multiple regions, ensuring high availability and scalability.
