Data pipeline Dev/Ops
Exp: 2-4yrs
JD: As a DevOps member of our data engineering team
- Maintain uptime of applications systems like our docker containers, and other services.
- Develop/ enhance existing unix shell/ python scripts to enhance our system level monitoring (disk usage, network outages, etc) for systems on prem as well as on cloud
- Working closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
- Effectively communicating your insights and findings to the members of our team.
- Researching for new and public data sources to be used on our websites.
As member of data engineering and operations team, role requires team member to be on pager duty for one weekend a week to help escalate issues with data pipeline. This duty doesn't require to be in the office, it can be remote but with access to internet. Vacations, etc, must be plan with a substitute as required.
Skills: Python, Linux Bash shell scripting, SQL
Flexibility for occasional travel to different offices or events is essential to fulfill the duties of this role. This may include attending meetings, conferences, or training sessions, as well as collaborating with team members or partners in various locations. While travel requirements may vary, candidates should be prepared to engage in occasional travel as needed to support business objectives and foster professional relationships.
