Description
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support and troubleshooting services to our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in desktop support and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users in a timely and efficient manner
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions
- Assist with the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
- Contribute to the development of user training materials and documentation
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in desktop support or related field
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications
- Experience with desktop hardware, including laptops, desktops, and peripherals
- Familiarity with network protocols and topologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, are a plus
