Job Description

Location: Mumbai

About us: Established in 2017 in the UK, Percipere is a fast-growing Premier Process Integrator for ERP and Process re-engineering engagements that works with leading clients in Europe, Americas, Middle East and India. We have ambitious growth targets in APAC market, and this role will play a pivotal role in helping achieve these targets.

Responsibilities

  • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
  • Walk internal customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
  • Effectively escalate issues to the appropriate resources when necessary
  • Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
  • Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting
  • Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
  • Record technical issues and solutions in logs
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Report employees feedback and potential product requests
  • Help create technical documentation and manuals

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role of minimum 2-4 years.
  • Knowledge and experience supporting, troubleshooting and configuring PC Hardware
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
  • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
  • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Customer-oriented attitude
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related course of study
