Desktop Publishing Operator

Report Yak is an ambitious young firm focussed on creating corporate reports for industry leading organisations. We conceptualise, write and design their annual reports, sustainability reports and integrated reports, among others, in addition to providing consultancy services on the application of various reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities:

Edit graphics such as images and illustrations

Import text and graphics into publishing software

Integrate images and text to create cohesive pages

Adjust text properties, such as size, column width, and spacing

Revise layouts and make corrections as necessary

Submit or upload final files for printing or online publishing and digital

Pre-requisites:

Expert in using Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator

Should have worked on book and magazine layout and design

Should know how to color-correct and manipulate images
