Desktop Engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer with 1-4 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's desktop computing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Providing technical support to end-users
• Maintaining and updating computer systems and applications
• Performing routine maintenance and upgrades of computer systems
• Performing data backups and disaster recovery operations
• Assisting in the planning and implementation of new hardware and software systems
• Managing user accounts and permissions

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in desktop engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS
• Experience with desktop imaging and deployment tools such as SCCM or MDT
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
