Description:
Join our dynamic team as an Evaporative Emissions Engineer DRE, where you will be responsible for the design, development, timing, and production release of system/components within Fuel Systems, focusing on vapor Canisters and leak detection components. This role includes initiatives such as quality improvements, value optimization, weight reduction, and other efficiency enhancements, with regular communication of technical product status to management.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and release system/components within Fuel Systems
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, testing labs, CAE engineers, and manufacturing plants
- Lead quality improvements and value optimization initiatives
- Communicate technical product status to management
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years of design/development automotive engineering experience in Fuel Systems and/or UREA
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in English (written, spoken, and listening)
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Preferred Requirements:
- Extensive automotive experience
- Product engineering experience
- Prototype experience
- Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R
- DFSS Belt certification
- Solid understanding of system/component design
- Familiarity with NX, TeamCenter, CoDeP, and PLM
- Experience in Formula SAE, Baja, or similar college projects

- CATIA V5 or Unigraphics NX
- Siemens & Adobe products (Vis Mockup, TeamCenter, PLM, PDFs)
- Microsoft or Google Office Products
