You will be working as Design Engineer UX and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be responsible for continuously creating new technology-based innovation by contributing extensively to successful product releases.
Your responsibilities
- Conducting user research to understand user behaviors, needs and motivations
- Utilizing various research methodologies such as interviews, surveys and usability testing to gather insights
- Developing storyboards and user flows to illustrate the user journey and interacting within our applications
- Planning and conducting usability testing sessions to gather feedback on designs and iterate on improvements
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers and developers throughout the design and development process
Your background
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics and communication or Electronics and Instrumentation
- Minimum 5 years of experience in UX/UI design with a focus on web and mobile applications
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum development environment.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with motion design and animation principles
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc
