Design Engineer

Brief description of the Role is as below:

Design Engineer Cooling SBU

Division : C&H Cooling SBU

Qualification : BE Mechanical

Experience : 3 - 5 yrs

Location : Chennai

Reporting to: Engineering- Group Head

Brief Job Description: The incumbent would be a part of the Design

Engineering Team

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Detail engineering - preparation, checking of heat exchanger

and pressure vessel engineering drawings.

2. Would be responsible for Mechanical + thermal calculations of

Process Equipment.

3. Preparation of P & I diagrams and General Arrangement

drawings.

4. Responsible for selection of components and preparation of Bill

of Materials.

5. Should be able to work on Modelling Softwares ( viz.

SolidWorks ), previous experience

Qualifications: -

1. Proven experience in the design and optimization of vapor

compression cycle systems for chiller and heat pump

applications.

2. Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and

refrigeration principles.

3. Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

4. Knowledge of emerging technologies in HVAC and refrigeration
