nWhat you'll do:

nAs Design Engineer you'll be responsible for Engineering activities and product innovation for the Severn Glocon Division.

nYour main responsibilities will be to:

• Design and development of new and existing valve products
n
• Understand competitor products to provide custom solutions for MRO
n
• Provide Engineering solutions to our customers
n
• Work towards industry specific and quality standards
n
• Review changes in customer specification for the projects after installation in site & advise required changes in the valves including part numbers for quote purposes
n
• Collaborate with Engineering and Project teams to ensure smooth execution of products, and to achieve on time delivery deadlines
n
• Perform market analysis based product development requirement, feasibility study, proposal of timelines and business case preparation
n
• Be part of the innovation of new product development (NPD)
n

What you'll need:n

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
n
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Solid Edge or equivalent
n
• Highly competent with 3D modelling
n
• Forward thinking mindset and a problem solver
n
• Good understanding and knowledge of customer and end user requirements
n
• Control valve design experience would be advantageous for this role
n
