Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD based on project requirements.
- Prepare accurate engineering drawings, layouts, and blueprints for manufacturing and assembly.
- Collaborate with the product development team to create innovative and functional designs.
- Analyze design challenges and provide solutions to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure designs meet required standards and specifications.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders or clients.
- Maintain proper documentation of all designs, revisions, and technical specifications.
- Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues during manufacturing or assembly.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 2D and 3D modeling.
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with different teams effectively.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a design engineering role.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations is an advantage.
