Design Engineer – Fixtures and Tooling (LIPL-1936)

Screening Criteria

• 3 to 8 years of experience in fixture design, with proficiency in 2D and 3D drawing.
• Hands-on experience with SolidWorks, CAD/CAM, and exposure to LEAN manufacturing practices.

Job Overview:

• Design and develop new fixtures for assembly, HMC, VMC, CNC, and specialized machines like welding and hydro pressure testing.
• Coordinate fixture manufacturing processes with suppliers.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure fixture integration.
• Oversee fixture testing and conduct training for users.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for fixture handling.
• Conduct periodic checks for fixture maintenance and ensure spare parts availability.
• Utilize SAP and other computer skills for effective design and planning.
