Radiant Safety Systems is looking for DESIGN ENGINEER ( FIRE SAFETY SYSTEMS ) to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.Fire Safety Planning: Develop and implement fire safety plans, policies, and procedures to prevent fire-related incidents.
Emergency Response: Establish and manage emergency response procedures, including fire drills and evacuation plans, to ensure a safe and orderly response to emergencies.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits of fire safety equipment, systems, and facilities to identify and rectify potential hazards.
Fire Suppression Systems: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and testing of fire detection and suppression systems, such as fire alarms, sprinklers, and fire extinguishers.
Training and Education: Provide training and education to employees and staff on fire safety measures, including the proper use of safety equipment and emergency response protocols.
Safety Equipment: Ensure that safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and first-aid kits, is available and properly maintained.
Fire Risk Assessment: Conduct fire risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Safety Drills: Organize and conduct fire drills and safety exercises to assess readiness and response capabilities.
Incident Investigation: Investigate fire-related incidents to determine the cause and recommend preventive measures.
Documentation: Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and emergency response drills.
Budget Management: Manage the budget for fire safety initiatives, including equipment procurement and maintenance.
Regulatory Liaison: Interface with regulatory agencies and authorities to ensure compliance and address safety concerns.
Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management plans for various types of emergencies, including fires, and coordinate with relevant agencies and authorities.
Security: Collaborate with security teams to integrate fire safety and security measures for a comprehensive safety program.
