A Design and Application Engineer is an experienced innovator in design and analysis of pneumatic & hydraulic components and related mechanical equipment. You shall be capable of managing the design and qualification portions of multiple engineering programs simultaneously. You must be able to create design concepts that meet customer-specified requirements and then develop these concepts into feasible designs.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop 2D and 3D models of valve automation systems, actuators, and control components using software like AutoCAD or Inventor.
Translate customer specifications and project requirements into detailed engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop and present costeffective quotations to customers, demonstrating technical expertise.
Provide pre-sales technical support by clarifying customer requirements and offering solutions for valve automation needs.
Offer post-sales technical support by troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and assisting with installation and commissioning.
Maintain an organised database of all developed drawings for efficient retrieval and reference.
Work effectively with other team members to ensure smooth project workflow and timely delivery.
Take ownership of your work, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Select, size and price actuators & control system that conform to customers requirements.
Review incoming orders for conformance to quotation and resolve any differences to ensure smooth order entry.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering, or a related Held.
Strong technical knowledge of actuators and automation systems (a plus).
Good understanding of fluid power principles, including pneumatics and hydraulics.
proficiency in 2D and 3D design software like AutoCAD or Inventor.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a dedication to accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
Fluent in English and additional European languages (a plus).
