We're seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President - Derivatives Clearing in ISG Equity Operations to lead the Derivatives Clearing Global Exchange reconciliations team based out of Mumbai & Bengaluru.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Team Manager position at Vice President level within the Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What You'll Do In The Role
- Develop staff, lead projects and control deployment of resources, owning management tools/methods such as work queues, checklists, depth charts and calendars.
- Set direction and expectations for your team(s), defining training plans and transfer of expert knowledge to contribute to team output and development.
- Contribute to business plan for area, establish risk/contingency plans, raise and address issues with urgency when required .
- Build and manage relationships with business unit partners, other Morgan Stanley infrastructure departments, and external contact points in Client or Market organizations.
- Lead the Listed Derivatives reconciliations team managing Asia, EMEA and NY exchanges. The role will have oversight of approximately 20 resources based in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
- Be a change agent and drive the direction of the group strategically by improving the efficiency and control aspects of Clearing, Reconciliation, Margins and Control functions.
- Proactively explore solutions to close control gaps and ensure to adherence to existing control framework; regular review and understanding of procedures, checklists and reports to ensure they are accurate and current.
- Ensure the completion and delivery of all business unit and client requirements associated with timely updates.
- Champion the operational changes required to implement processes to satisfy Local and Global regulatory changes.
- Partner closely with Technology, Risk and Change Management teams.
What You'll Bring To The Role

- Experience in managing teams, enhancing control, continuous improvement and reducing operational risk .
- Culture carrier and role model, representing and leading the Firm's core values to influence and motivate those around you.
- Knowledge of listed derivatives, FXPB and Cleared OTC reconciliations & Trade Support Group functions (or at least the concept of TSG functions) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written, necessary to work effectively with colleagues in different regions and business units, and to describe complex issues accurately and succinctly.
- At least 6 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
