Job Description:

Maintenance Repair & Overhaul Gas Turbine Engines (Repair Support & Life Cycle Engineering)

1. Basic principles of GasTurbine engine operation
2. Material Removal Techniques - Blending, Electro-Chemical Machining, Electro Discharge Machining, Polishing, Ultra High Pressure Water.
3. Author / define repair tasks, including substantiation as a Competent Author (CA).
4. Leading technical discussions with Engineering Specialists and CVE. Manage the Project effectively for timely completion.
5. Support the implementation of the repair & approval of Component repair FAIr with a MRO vendor. Optimize Measurement processes to ensure effective flow through the plant.
6. Experience in writing Repair Schemes/ Techniques.
7. Good understanding of GD&T and its application
8. Support MRO for transferring repair capability from an existing source
9. Support Engineering for Services (EFS) with delivering all solutions effectively and on time in the Repair and Overhaul service lines.
10. Supporting with Inputs not accessible from offshore
11. Author / define TVs, including substantiation as a Competent Author (CA).
12. Finding new work opportunities and ensuring steady workload for the offshore team
