Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Preparation of wiring harness Schematics in Capital logic in line with System E&E Architecture.
- Work closely with wiring harness 3D team for the latest design changes for aligning the changes in CHS work bench.
- Preparation of wiring harness layout & synchronization in capital harness XC.
- Theoretical calculation of voltage drop & Fuse load calculation for the vehicle loads.
- Hands on experience in selection of wires, Fuses, Connectors & relays for automotive application.
- Selection of components including HV components like PDUs, contactors, fuses, precharge resistors etc
- Provide build support and issues resolution.
- Vehicle level troubleshooting for E&E interface issues & resolution.
- Knowledge on electrical components functionality & its failure modes.
- Supplier & Cross functional team handling for all E&E interface and development activities.

General Requirements
- Hands on experience on wiring harness DVP & DFMEA creation.
- Knowledge on competitor vehicle benchmarking & VAVE ideas generation.
- Good knowledge of Vehicle Electrical Schematic & System Architecture.
- Fundamental knowledge of electrical components such as Switches,Cluster,Lighting system & Sensors.
- Expertise in using Siemens CHS for Logic, Capital Simulation, Capital harness XC, Library & Symbol.
- Basic knowledge on Automotive Communication Networks such as CAN/LIN.
