Job Summary
The Deputy Manager - Sales will support the Regional Sales Manager - East in driving sales strategies, market penetration and achieving revenue targets in the assigned territory. This role involves developing client relationships, deliver sales KPIs and implementing initiatives to enhance sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving sales and developing customer relationships. Here are the key responsibilities typically associated with this role:
Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels, including networking, referrals, and cold calling.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions with customers to close sales effectively, ensuring mutual satisfaction.
Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in CRM systems.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and support overall business goals.
Follow-Up: Conduct follow-ups with prospects and clients to ensure satisfaction and explore further sales opportunities.
Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques to improve effectiveness.
Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree preferred in business administration / engineering or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in sales.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Key account management and CXO level engagement skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making.
