Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the mechanical team to ensure efficient operations and maintenance of equipment in the Copper industry.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize mechanical processes, enhance productivity, and reduce downtime.
- Oversee the planning and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and availability of machinery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the condition of equipment, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex mechanical problems and support the team in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Manage and monitor budget, resources, and expenditures related to mechanical operations while maintaining cost-effective practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
- Lead initiatives to enhance equipment performance, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices in line with Adani's commitment to environmental stewardship.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional growth.
Experience
Qualifications
8-15 years of experience in mechanical operations within the Copper industry.
Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree is preferred.
Certification Required
Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
