PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for Planning and Managing the material Movement across the supply chain Including Imports / Exports.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILTIES
- Planning and Organising daily transportations as per business need
- Monitor the daily dispatches from various units, planning and organizing stock transfer from H.0 to branches and other locations as applicable
- Transport shipment planning
- Ensure timely tracking and updation in the system as defined
- Develop and implement the good practices- 5S, KAIZEN warehouse operation norms
- Error-free transport documentation and submitting the MIS to the concerned authority at regular intervals
- Monitor the fleet of vehicles and transporters ensuring on-time delivery and transmitting norms and analysis reasons for the loss in transit and undertake measures to control the same
- Tacking delivery issues and closure of the same to ensure customer satisfaction
- In-Depth knowledge of import and export producers and compliances
- Laisoning with concerned agents/authorities in clearing the consignments with any delays
- Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity of the information and adhere to the safety, quality standards, policies & procedures of the company
- Adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) at every level of work
- To take appropriate cost-reduction measures
- Handling any additional responsibilities as and when assigned by the reporting authority
QUALIFICATION -Graduate/Post Graduate ( Commerce)-Supply Chain
EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE - 6-7 years experience with knowledge of ERP transport routing, consolidation experience from logistics Organisation is preferred
