Job Purpose:
The incumbent shall be responsible for managing Inventory and Picking operations by meeting the fixed imperatives & deliverables by effectively handling a team of talents to drive daily shift outputs and adherence to shop floor procedures to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibility:
- Exhaustive knowledge of end-to-end inventory operations on space optimization, Binning and Replenishments of parts, and Location management.
- Space augmentation comprehensive study for better managing of storage of parts in existing available space by analyzing the storage patterns and norms
- Sequencing and slotting of parts for easy identifiability & traceability to expedite the retrievability of parts
- Perpetual Inventory planning for monthly and yearly to ensure and achieve inventory accuracy
- Strategizing and supporting the parts indent preparations by analyzing the parts movement patterns and sales trajectory.
- Deploying the required interventions and mechanism to drive the picking operations output
- Devising an action plan to minimize the picking discrepancies in the shift operations
- Identifying the avenues & proposing the automation plans in picking operations for accuracy in the picking of parts.
- Developing and generating the daily/Monthly Scorecards/Dashboards on deliverable metrics on inventory and picking operations.
- Guiding and managing the team members by deploying goals and reviewing the KPIs and deliverables for operational excellence.
- Audit knowledge to handle various internal and external audits (IMS, Group Audits, and other internal and external audits)
- Having complete knowledge of SAP/EWM transactions functionality on WH operations
- Generations of Cost saving initiatives and implementations to reduce the cost of operations
