To perform the role of a risk coordinator and assist Financial Controls management and staff in Mumbai and UK as necessary in their responsibilities for control review, monitoring and reporting. Compliance to ensure that you understand and adhere to M&G plc Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements. To demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise. Ensure support as a 1st line for the business and provide all necessary requirements & submissions to the Risk team. Use your judgement to strengthen a positive risk and control culture, by identifying, assessing and managing risk within your business area Take all reasonable steps to make sure your business area fulfills its external regulatory, legal and industry obligations.To review and strengthen existing procedures.
Risk Coordination: RCSA reviews: To lead and Co-ordinate, check and challenge the process through reviews and half yearly KCA testing, tracking & Investigation of Notifiable Events, KRI submissions.
MUDA Coordination: To lead and co-ordinate, provide guidance, attestation, check and challenge the risk assessment on MUDA's.
BCP Coordination: To lead and co-ordinate, review and provide timely BCP submissions.
Process reviews: To Lead and perform process reviews and prepares Risk and Controls matrix's , review of controls to meet the Operational Risk framew
Use judgement to strengthen a positive risk and control culture, by identifying, assessing and managing risk within the business area.
To take lead and ensure cross training is provided within the team.
