Location - New Delhi (HQ) with 40 - 50 % travel within and outside Delhi
Qualification: Master of Social Work/ Sociology /Development Studies/ Any other related field
Experience: 3 - 4 years of working in waste management sector
Responsibilities
- Deputy Manager will execute the field activities of the project in the thematic area of waste management, particularly solid waste management with an emphasis on plastic waste.
- Implement which include design financial planning, resource management and quality of deliverables.
- Developing partnerships and establishing linkages for strengthening the value chain.
- Developing de-centralised models for waste management, integrating informal sector
- Developing/ strengthening and promoting enterprises - particularly women-based enterprises on waste management.
- Developing effective models for door-to-door waste collection, by promoting and conducting IEC activities.
- Working with Municipalities and other relevant government bodies.
- Developing effective business models on waste management.
- Leading field teams independently and producing quality outcomes in the projects
- Develop knowledge products with new knowledge management and non-project resources.
- Outlay and evaluation of existing projects.
- Business development of projects in the waste sector.
- Any work assigned by the senior management.
