Key Deliverables:
Deliver the Net sales and Gross margin of the assigned category.
New Product Launches: Develop, lead and execute the launch and GTM for New Products, ensuring sales planning, showroom displays, communication rollout and trainings. Delivering the aligned new product sales targets for the year.
Focus Products: Own and drive the sale/ Quotes/ PO wins/ Showroom displays and unit target of focus products in the relevant channel (Showrooms, Builders, Architects, etc.)
Focus Categories: Work in partnership with the category strategy team to build the focus Categories as mapped in the Annual Plan.
Category Communication Strategy: Lead and execute how the category will be displayed / presented in showrooms and to architects/builders. Execute the same in co-ordination with the marketing communications, showroom design and architect engagement teams.
Conceptualize and lead the prioritized marketing activities across different channels in line with the overall Product Marketing and Communication strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the key point person between sales, product and brand teams to ensure achievement of sales and budget objectives.
Conceptualize and execute Go-To-Market strategy for New Product Launches. Source of volume, Communication Plan, Activation Plan and Support, Sales Training, etc.
Develop the category communication strategy in line with the consumer needs, competition perceptions and product benefits. Develop a plan to execute the same across showrooms, builders, architects through showroom displays, Showroom Visual Merchandise, Architect/Builder Pitching material and showcase options and Sales team/Dealer training and Pitch materials (list not exhaustive).
Identify all product knowledge / showcase gaps and build a plan to bridge the same. Source / develop training material to effectively pitch product ranges based on features and differentiated product benefits. Initiate competition benchmarking exercises by driving Product Marketing and Engineering teams to generate product stories differentiating products vis--vis competition.
Provide product feedback and identify market gaps for Product marketing.
Lead and manage all the category interventions/promotions including consumer promotions, trade promotions and internal team incentives.
Relate and recommend changes in established market distribution and strategy as necessitated by market and consumer preferences.
Skill sets:
Masters/MBA, preferably in Business administration from a reputed organization.
8-12 years of relevant work experience in preferably a sanitaryware, Consumer durable and related industries.
Preferred Experience in -Category Marketing, Brand Marketing, Sales/Retail Marketing.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Internal/External Business Relationships-
Product Marketing: work closely with product marketing to drive launches, focus products and provide market feedbacks and insights.
Sales: Work with Sales to get alignment on New Product Plan and Channel Product Strategy.
Brand: Work closely with the Marketing Communication Team to ensure timely and impactful delivery of all elements of communication plan for the category.
Retail Execution: Work with the Showroom Design team to formulate and execute the showroom product display and communication strategy.
Supply Chain and Finance: Work with Supply Chain and Finance Team to drive trade/consumer promotions for the category.
Customers: Key trade partners, architects and builders to remain updated with the market trends and need gaps.
