Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and implementing BIM workflow and driving standard usage of BIM with Revit/ NavisWorks & other integrated civil/ MEP software
- Oversee the use of BIM/Revit software, including installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting all BIM installations as well as analyzing and solving BIM user issues
- Provide end-user training, support, and leadership
- Support each project team by
- managing and creating content library files and templates,
- creating and enforcing standards,
- evaluating project models
- Support project start-up coordination, helping teams develop strategies for effective delivery of quality documents, and set-up each project, thereby ensuring that each one is set up correctly.
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Develop / Update BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
- Review 3D Models from consultants and contractors
- Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Revit/ NavisWorks
- Generate reports for clash detection & audit/ review models as per the BEP specifications
- 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification
- 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks
- Coordinate with IT manager the selection of BIM software products, including but not limited to licensing compliance, incorporating new version releases,
- Manage the implementation of supporting software and plug-ins for BIM
- Provide hardware and network support as it relates to BIM production
Qualifications
- Knowledge in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD
- Knowledge of basic construction processs and procedures
- Knowledge of coordination of Architectural/ Structural/ MEPF Revit models
- Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
