Job description

• Oracle Database Administrator on UNIX with experience in Exadata, Oracle 11g, 12c and above.

• 6+ years of experience as Oracle DBA.

• At least 4-year hands-on experience providing RAC database machine administration services and database support for Exadata, Oracle11g, 12c, 18c and above in clustered environments such as Oracle Cluster ware.

• ProvideDBA implementation and support for Oracle migrations and upgrades, including environmentsusing Oracle Dataguard.

• At least 3 years of experience with Data Guard, Golden Gate and RAC is a must.

• knowledge to perform software installations, upgrades, Backup configurations, migrations and apply patches

• Extensive hands-on experience in database migration, Oracle Backup/Recovery (expdp/impdp, RMAN).

• Database performance tuning, and capacity planning experience.

• Having knowledge on recovery appliances such a ZDLRA & ZFS

• Having Exadata DMA capabilities to manage Exadata & its components, storage , Identify faulty components, Hardware replacement, Exacheck, Exawatcher & sundiag report

Must have professional/technical qualification

• Support 24.7 DBA shift

• Meet SLA, MTTR defined for Qatar

• Competency build for emerging technologies
